That is the headline in today's news. Okay not "the" headline but one of the headlines that caught my attention. It's the small things that make a day better.
No, no, no ,no, no, no, no. No. Don't go. PLEASE don't go. It's a total sham. Ikea is to home furnishings/accessories what Wal-Mart is to fine clothing. I don't get the allure of "imported furniture/accessories." Everything we buy is imported. How is this some earth-shattering new concept?
Jennifer - I think that it's a fun place to visit.
Suze - That is exactly my plan.
Catherine - Yeah for us in Denver!
Miss X - I use to buy things at Ikea and Fry's Electronics when I traveled to San Fran all of the time. Love those stores. I have never been to a Trader Joes! Yes, I love Melt!
Keeper - I'm ready!
Gwen - I know
Stacie - You have to make a road trip.
Sornie - I can't help it...fun to walk around.
us2 - They are fun to spend a couple of hours looking. Probably not going to buy anything but I can dream. The tattoo is still there, I was never going to remove 100%...I have had so many other things going it's a long story.
It's a slippery slope- a trip there every few months for a laundry bin or such. Before you know it, you're remodeling and going there two or three times in ONE WEEKEND and basically just signing over your paycheck. Then you have to start selling meth to pay for your Romblottburn addiction, and your bulging thighs start to make you question the claims of "fat free" with the delicious yogurt cones. Bad, bad, IKEA, I love you so.

..And I hear Macy's is having a white sale.
You will LOVE Ikea! It is one of my favorite places to spend a very long morning or afternoon.
Aaah, so they want people in Denver to be frustrated putting things together also? Excellent!
I blogged it too! Makes me why it's taken so long if we all find it newsworthy :)
The advantage to living in Phoenix is having Ikea down the road. And a Fry's Electronics. Oh, and a Trader Joe's.
The stores I miss the most are Vitamin Cottage and Melt.
And are you ready for it??
You know , did you,
Clean your house
Get your hair done
make a nice meatloaf?
WANT.
YAY FOR YOU!!!
Ours is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away...and I have NEVER been.
