It's all a blur

The weekend is almost over and instead of ironing clothes for the week (which I hate to do), packing my lunch for tomorrow or trying to get a little meditation in to end the evening...I am looking back and realizing that most of it is a blur. I had dinner with a friend, threw a party for my mom's birthday (happy birthday mom!), finished the bathroom and through it all...I drank. I am not normally a BIG drinker, I mean I can drink and hang out with people, but this was different. For some reason, this weekend was filled with alcohol.

But here are the things that stood out in my mind this weekend. Made an ass out of myself (emotions a little raw and I just put them out there), worked Saturday morning starting at 6:00 a.m.! Who does that!!! We had a fund raiser 5k walk in the morning and it was pouring rain! Threw a birthday party for my mom Saturday night...turned out well I think. Finished the bathroom and all of my running around this weekend. Managed to sneak a few work outs into my schedule, played with Fred, and then two other events happened!

First...argued with my cell phone provider over what services they can now offer. I need a new phone and they are in the process of changing providers and can not offer me anything new today, or maybe until the first of the year! Hmmm...I don't think that's going to work for me. So I am researching new providers. Any suggestions. I'm thinking about AT&T because so many of my friends have the provider, but I also like Verizon! Help!!!!

And lastly, to close the weekend...I received the news. Ellen finally did it...she got married. Guess she can no longer be on my list of possibilities! So sad.

Ugh, I've had terrible experiences with AT&T and my cell phone. On the other hand, I have terrible experiences with anything involving gadgets, so don't listen to me.

Honestly, Verizon really DOES have the best network out there. So if you are looking for call coverage anywhere you go, they are great. However, they are extremely unforgiving with their plans. If you call people that aren't WITH Verizon you have to pay a lot of money (to me $99 per month is a lot) so that you'll have enough minutes to cover your talk time with non-Verizon people. THAT makes me mad.

Sounds like an interesting, if "blurry" weekend. The question is -- do you feel relaxed or are you still stressed?

T-Mobile works great in my area and they have some pretty cool phones. And as far as Ellen, damn her for taking away Portia DeRossi. That means she's off MY list.

oh, new layout and LOVE your new picture~

Sometimes blurred weekends are the BEST. ;) Sorry about Ellen, but we all know how those hollywood types are, I am sure she will be back on the market in a few months ;)

We're switching cellphone providers too (currently with Sprint-HATE), so let us know who you go with when you decide.
I think we all need the occasional blurry weekend- if it turns into a blurry month, however, let us know and we'll call the folks over at "Intervention."

I like the new theme! And your picture is gorgeous!

T-Mo works well around these parts. I've also heard good things about Cricket.

Happy belated Birthday to your mom!

I'd like to possibly change my cable and phone provider, so that I have one provider for cable, internet and phone. I just don't know which company to dump, and I know whoever I choose won't go down easily.

Ellen can still be on your list as long as you laminate it.

Love the new layout. It's tight.

I have cingular and love it. I've only once been somewhere that I didn't have service.

Wasn't AT&T an early supporter of gay rights? Of course, big corporations are inherently evil, so I'm sure they've done awful things since then.

Whatever, I love my iPhone....

I have been putting off switching plans with my cell phone provider and paying way too much for a long time because the idea of dealing with it is just too much. No wonder you drank this weekend. Calling cell phone companies is pure trauma.
